This year on our lake, we only had one loon chick survive and I've been monitoring its progress for Michigan Loonwatch. That last photos was especially wonderful - I love how he's coming out of the water like a submarine!
Next weekend I will be out on my kayak and hopefully catching new photos of my loon chick.Shelleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17534904024320623895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27055376.post-90214089097406862122009-08-27T00:17:07.038-04:002009-08-27T00:17:07.038-04:00Very beautifully described with lovely pictures.Very beautifully described with lovely pictures.Urmihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11444733179920713322noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27055376.post-54787319371548935052009-08-23T16:07:13.014-04:002009-08-23T16:07:13.014-04:00HI Chris,

We have them here too and I got some nice shots this year that I still did not publish on my blog. I keep them for the winter.
Yours are wonderful shots and the text is also very nice. It reminds me of the peculiarity of this bird.Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16336362938871245037noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27055376.post-35083952568159625122009-08-23T14:26:35.287-04:002009-08-23T14:26:35.287-04:00Great post!
