Hermit Thrush

The Hermit Thrush epitomized the songbird fall out at Cape May, October 29-30. Dozens moved through the trees, bushes, and vines in a feeding frenzy. Here are images of one Hermit Thrush:

Stunning pics, Ghris, particularly the first one and the close-up! I ran into Phyllis B.; she was amazed at the number of migrating Hermit Thrushes at Cape May. Please alert me the next time a fall-out is expected.

Wow Chirs, that first shot is splendid.... Right in action... you got it well mate, well done!! That's a bird we seldom see over here.... compare to the redwing which is everywhere!
