Red-bellied & Robins

A relief - things seems to be working. So, to the post I had hoped to put up yesterday. Feeders were exceptionally busy in anticipation of the snow storm, including the first visit of the year from our Red- Bellied Woodpecker ...

Flocks of American Robins have been passing through the neighborhood as well. They have been feeding on the apples and crabapples ...

Good Birding!!

I haven't noticed any Red bellied's here but we do have plenty of Robins! Remember when we were kids and you didn't see the first Robin until spring? It was always so exciting. Things sure have changed!

Hi Chris,
Man, you still have snow... We don't even got more snow than we got for Christmas. Everything has melted here and it is raining all the time...
Beautiful shot you got and congrats for the visit of the woodpecker, this surely indicates the quality of your feeders!!

Lovely shots! Red-bellied Woodpeckers are great fun to watch; how lucky you are to get them at your feeder!
