I love my digital camera and my Canon 50D. But there is no restraint on picture taking. I returned from Texas with over 1700 photos. I have reduced that number to under a thousand, and I have a long way to go to work through them all. Such fun! And the birding was great! - hope yours is too.

1700 pictures, gosh good luck with the post-treatment and the sorting out... This is gonna take you some time, but it also does mean that you got a nice birding time over there. At least we can see that with this first set which is fantastic... Many species that I've never seen and that are beautifully captured.. Great job.
Awesome photos! Sorting through a thousand photos will lighten up many dark days. Needless to say I envy you.
