The Eurasian Green-winged Teal first reported on Saturday, April 7, in the Connecticut River (New Hampshire) opposite Herrick's Cove was still present as of 10am this morning. Yesterday it was reported in Herrick's Cove (Vermont), and was found there again this morning. This may be the first Vermont record. I found the teal after Don Clark (TY!) directed me away from the River and into the cove where he had seen it earlier in the morning. Photos are distant digiscoped pictures, but good enough for identification.
