Bananaquit

In my column posted Saturday, I said that one of my favorite birds seen on Trinidad is the Bananaquit. Here are a few additional images.

Nice pictures! Neat little birds who know where their table is set. I was lucky to see one on Aruba. It had a prominent red gape - perhaps a juvenile.

I now see why almost anyone who is an avid birder talks about Trinidad...gorgeous shots of some gorgeous birds...oh I want to go too!!
